Roblox reported Q4 bookings of $2.2 billion, up 63% year-over-year, while full-year revenue reached $4.9 billion, a 36% increase. The gaming platform's daily active users grew 69% to 144 million, with engagement hours jumping 88% to 35 billion in Q4.

Despite the growth, Roblox posted annual net losses of $1.07 billion, widening from $940.6 million in 2024. Q4 losses hit $318 million versus $221 million the prior year.

Monthly paying users climbed 94% to 36.7 million, spending an average $20.18 each. The company's top 1,000 creators earned an average $1.3 million in 2025.

Roblox rolled out mandatory age verification in January 2026 for chat features. Early data showed 35% of verified users were under 13, with 27% over 18.

The company forecasts 2026 revenue between $6 billion and $6.2 billion. CEO David Baszucki said Roblox aims to reach one billion users and capture 10% of the global gaming market.

Overwatch Surges Past Battlefield 6, Call of Duty on Steam Ahead of Season Launch

Overwatch overtook Call of Duty and Battlefield 6 on Steam following its Reign of Talon season announcement, reaching its highest concurrency since launching on the platform.

The February 10 season introduces five new heroes, including Jetpack Cat—a flying support character teased in decade-old concept art. The feline hero named Fika can heal allies and push enemies off maps.

The Steam surge is notable given most Overwatch players use Battle.net or consoles, while Steam is Battlefield 6's primary PC platform. Battlefield 6 was 2025's best-selling game.
