NODWIN Gaming Taps ICONiQ White and Mastercard as Lead Sponsors for NH7 Weekender 2026
ICONiQ White, part of Allied Blenders and Distillers Limited's portfolio, will serve as title sponsor for the NH7 Weekender music festival in Pune, running March 13-15. The spirits brand plans to build an experiential zone at the venue designed as a social hub for festival-goers. Mastercard, the "Powered By" sponsor, ran presale windows through HDFC Bank Mastercard credit cards ahead of the event.
NODWIN Gaming, which owns the festival IP, has positioned NH7 Weekender as one of India's larger multi-genre live music properties. This year's lineup includes Prateek Kuhad, Nucleya & Friends, Raftaar x Kr$na, and Indian Ocean, alongside a comedy slate featuring Rahul Subramanian and Varun Thakur.
The partnerships arrive as India's organized live events segment posted 15% growth in 2024, per a Ministry of Information and Broadcasting whitepaper, generating an estimated INR 13 billion in incremental revenue.
Mineski Events Team and Vizta Launch India's First Publisher-Backed Moba Legends National Tournament With Esports World Cup Berth at Stake
Mineski Events Team and Vizta have announced the Moba Legends: 5v5! Master Series (MLMS), India's first official publisher-backed national tournament for the mobile MOBA title. The winner will represent India at the Esports World Cup 2026.
The tournament follows a multi-stage format: open qualifiers running March 23-30 will narrow a 256-team field through single-elimination and best-of-three rounds. Two qualifying teams join six invited rosters in a round-robin league stage from April 5-26. The top six advance to a LAN finale on May 9-10 in Mumbai, competing for a ₹46 lakh prize pool.
Registrations opened March 10 and close March 19.
"The format ensures that talent from across the country has a fair shot at reaching the top," said Tiger Xu, Vizta's global head of esports. Mineski Events Team, which produced the recent M7 World Championship in Indonesia, is handling tournament operations.

🎮 Play: TR-49 is a soothing deduction game where you never leave your desk but somehow create deep atmosphere through paperwork and British accents. You'll need a real notebook to scribble clues—not ideal for everyone, but perfect if you want to zone out solving mysteries through files and dialogue prompts. The opening overwhelms slightly, then quiets down into satisfying detective work. Charming, relaxing, and proof that staring at documents can feel meditative.
📚 Read: ID@Xbox head Chris Charla says indie developers undervalue their work and let imposter syndrome dictate pricing. "I was thinking about asking for 12… I'm gonna ask for five" is the pattern he sees constantly. Meanwhile Xbox cleaned up bundle spam clogging the new releases page, billions paid to developers through Game Pass, and genres are dissolving into hybrids nobody can categorize anymore. Charla's advice: check comparables, ignore your emotional problems with pricing.

A Star Wars shooter that was canceled over a decade ago and never officially released is now playable online, rebuilt entirely by fans. Star Wars: First Assault was a 16-player infantry game pitting Stormtroopers against Rebels, nearly finished when LucasArts shut down in 2013 after Disney's Lucasfilm acquisition. A team of Battlefront modders rebuilt it from a closed technical beta, and on March 6, they ran their first 8v8 stress test. The full package is available through the project's Discord, running via the Xenia Xbox 360 emulator. A multiplayer event is scheduled for March 14.
